Many people have been asking what should I eat after a workout – well here are some ideas and the reason why…

Many people don’t pay enough attention to getting the protein their muscles need to rebuild.  If you don’t, you are going to get very little out of your workout, as both cardio and strength workouts require protein for building muscles and recovery – so the next time you have completed your WOD grab some protein!  Post- exercise eating should be a rich complex carbohydrates and proteins to replenish muscles.  This should take place as soon as possible after a wod but no longer than 1 hours after a hard wod.  Some ideas – protein shake, fruit, sweet potatoes – so when you are preparing your gym bag for the next days wod make sure you include something to eat/drink.
